Serving Pre-K3 through 8th grade students, City School offers a unique combination of Charlotte Mason educational philosophy, sliding scale tuition, and a diverse, Christian community. Since 2002, our mission has been to provide a feast of education that forms children academically, spiritually, and relationally to follow Christ and serve others. With a low teacher-to-student ratio, a rich curriculum, and a nurturing community, City School provides a haven in which students can grow in their knowledge of God and His world.

LEARN

Our approach is a feast of learning, nourishing students academically, spiritually, and relationally. At City School, we practice learning by building a foundation of academic skills, persevering through challenges, and growing in community - all within a Christ-centered environment.

LOVE

At City School, we practice love as we enjoy God and His kingdom and orient our desires, habits, and choices toward Christ.

SERVE

At City School, we practice service as we break barriers to a traditional private school education, dwell with others in a diverse community, and steward our resources for the good of our city.

CITY SCHOOL COMMUNITY

City School is an optimal place for a Christ centered, holistic Charlotte Mason education. We have loved the small class sizes and incredibly loving and capable teachers. Having our girls in this school is a gift and joy!
— The Muelas, City School family since Fall 2021
City School offered excellence academically, wonder, and beauty to show our children what is deepest real in the C.S. Lewis kind of way.
The community offered different perspectives of story and experience and ethnicity and resources, that equipped them to succeed academically and competitively!
— The Warners, City School family from 2006 to 2018
I love that City School focuses on the individual. Year after year I’ve watched teachers, staff, and administration bend over backward to accommodate students in whatever they need, from low-level reading assistance to advanced math.

Teaching is directed to who and where each student is, rather than forcing everyone to try and learn at the same pace.
