School Demographics

We are intentional about cultivating a diverse community. City School’s student body is representative of Austin’s population socioeconomically, ethnically, and geographically: families come from 20+ Austin area zip codes, represent 30+ churches, and a number speak English as their second language.

At a Glance

  • Average class size: 12-14 students

  • Grades: PK3– 8th grade

  • All students are on the path to take Algebra in 8th grade

  • Students produce masterful portfolios of art, perform scripture recitations, and complete long-term projects

  • Graduates attend a variety of private, public, and charter schools throughout the city

  • School Hours

    • Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten: M-Th Half Day from 8:20 am to 12:00 pm or Full Day from 8:20 am to 3:00 pm & Friday from 8:20-12:30 pm

    • 1st - 8th Grade: M-Th from 8:20 am to 3:00 pm & Friday from 8:20 am - 12:30 pm
