We are proud to share the City School Annual Impact Report for FY 2024-2025, highlighting the progress and achievements of City School throughout the year. As an accessible independent Christian school serving PK3 – 8th Grade in Austin, TX, our commitment to nurturing academic excellence and spiritual growth remains steadfast.
Academic Growth: Our students demonstrated significant progress across all grade levels, with a particular emphasis on literacy, mathematics, and critical thinking skills. Our Charlotte Mason-inspired curriculum continues to foster a love of learning through exploration, narration, and meaningful engagement with rich literature and real-world experiences.
Spiritual Development: Faith remains at the core of our educational philosophy. This year, we integrated more scripture-based lessons and community service projects, deepening our students’ understanding of Christian values and encouraging compassionate leadership.
Community and Accessibility: We expanded scholarship opportunities to ensure our mission of accessibility remains a top priority. Partnerships with local organizations helped enhance our programs and support families throughout Austin.
Faculty Achievements: Our dedicated teachers engaged in professional development focused on Charlotte Mason methods and innovative teaching practices, ensuring a nurturing and effective classroom environment.
Facilities and Resources: Investments in facility enhancements by updating and painting outdoor learning spaces and displaying donated works of art to create enriched environments for both academic and spiritual growth. In 2025, the campus parking lot was refinished, and we expanded our garden mural. In addition, a student work program and summer camps were developed for our scholars.
